Adams Township is one of nine townships in Decatur County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, its population was 1,825 (down from 1,944 at 2010[2]) and it contained 818 housing units.[3]

History

Adams Township was organized in 1822.[5]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 32.97 square miles (85.4 km2), of which 32.94 square miles (85.3 km2) (or 99.91%) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) (or 0.12%) is water.[2]
