She played the character of leading character on the South African soap opera Scandal!.
Marokane gained prominence through her appearances in the Netflix series Shadow.[3]
In February 2020, Marokane was named one of four rising stars by Cosmopolitan South Africa.[1] The others who appearred were Shonisani Masutha, Ama Qamata and Kuhle Adams.[4]
In 2023 she was part of the Netflix series Miseducation.[7] The college drama was very popular in South Africa[8]
