2000 United States Senate election in New Mexico

The 2000 United States Senate election in New Mexico took place on November 7, 2000. Incumbent Democrat U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman won re-election to a fourth term.[1] Bingaman defeated Bill Redmond in a landslide, despite fellow Democrat Al Gore winning New Mexico over Republican nominee George W. Bush by a very narrow margin in the concurrent presidential election.
