Football league season
The 2008–09 Moldovan "A" Division season was the 18th since its establishment. A total of 17 teams contested the league.

- ^ Izvoraş-67 Ratuş did not participate in 2009–10 Moldovan "A" Division season.
- ^ FC Eikomena P.A. withdrew from the championship after the winter break and all their remaining matches were awarded 0-3 against them.
- ^ FC Floreni retired from the championship. All results were annulated.[1]
