In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Brome had a population of 341 living in 151 of its 169 total private dwellings, a change of 15.2% from its 2016 population of 296. With a land area of 11.56 km2 (4.46 sq mi), it had a population density of 29.5/km2 (76.4/sq mi) in 2021.[5]

Brome Fair

Brome Fair ("Exposition de Brome" in French) is an agricultural fair that takes place annually on Labour Day weekend. It is the largest rural fair in Quebec, dating back to 1856.

Like most country fairs, in addition to agricultural exhibitions and contests, Brome fair hosts a variety of country music acts, rides, games, and motorsport events.[8]
