Biography

Born on 16 October 1983 in Varna. She graduated John Exarch High School in Varna, and between 2002 and 2007 she studied "International Economic Relations" at the D.A. Tsenov Academy - Svishtov and "Corporate Applied Marketing" at the University of Economics - Varna. Ivelina is a certified expert in business coaching at the school of Intunity Coaches.[3]

Ivelina Atanasova - Genchev is founder of Business Clinic for digital transformation.[4][5] She has dedicated her mission to increase the female representation in the ICT sector, inspiring and supporting the female entrepreneurship and and access to quality education from an early age[6] as a gender equity approach and an opportunity to decrease domestic violence.

Projects and initiatives

Author of the theory of "digital children"[7] and founder of the global initiative for the transformation of education DigitalKidZ: Open Source School.[8][9][10]

DigitalKidZ was launched in 2014[11] as the first Bulgarian initiative aimed at enhancing the digital literacy of modern teachers, parents, and children. Two years later, the initiative won the "Social Campaign of Bulgaria" award from Forbes Bulgaria.[12]

Ivelina is also co-founder and local manager of Women in Tech.[13]
