Manuel Tames

Municipality in Guantánamo, Cuba

Manuel Tames is a municipality and town in the Guantánamo Province of Cuba. Its administrative seat is located in the town of Jamaica.^[1]

Geography

The town is located 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) east of the provincial capital, Guantánamo.

Demographics

In 2022, the municipality of Manuel Tames had a population of 36,067.^[2] With a total area of 526 km² (203 sq mi),^[1] it has a population density of 69/km² (180/sq mi). The urban population was 19,790.^[3]
