Times Square is a 1929 American sound part-talkie drama film directed by Joseph Boyle and starring Alice Day, Arthur Lubin and Emile Chautard.[1] In addition to sequences with audible dialogue or talking sequences, the film features a synchronized musical score and sound effects along with English intertitles. The soundtrack was recorded using a sound-on-disc system. The film was shot in Los Angeles and New York.[2]
The film featured a theme song entitled "My Heart's Longing For You, Elaine," which was composed by Johnny Tucker and Joe Schuster.
