Where's the evidence that this guy was Catholic? If I'm not mistaken, there were penal laws in effect throughout the British Empire at the time, prohibiting Catholics from serving in government. If no source is provided for this claim, I am going to remove it from the article.Jonathan f1 (talk) 00:20, 18 December 2019 (UTC)
