Женевский международный автосалон — ежегодное автошоу, проходившее в марте в швейцарском городе Женева .
Шоу проходило в Palexpo , конференц-центре, расположенном рядом с международным аэропортом Женевы Куантран. Салон был организован Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d'Automobiles и считался важным крупным международным автошоу. [1]
Впервые проведенный в 1905 году, Салон принимал почти все основные модели с двигателем внутреннего сгорания в истории автомобилестроения, наряду с автомобилями на бензине и паре с начала века. Экзотические суперкары часто оказываются в центре внимания во время своих дебютов на выставке. На выставке были анонсированы прототипы, новое оборудование, технические прорывы, международное партнерство , а также политические и социальные дебаты. Женевский международный автосалон не проводился в 2020-2023 годах из-за пандемии COVID-19 и ее экономического влияния на мировую автомобильную промышленность. Мероприятие возобновилось в 2024 году.
В мае 2024 года оргкомитет Женевского автосалона принял решение отменить мероприятие на 2025 год и далее, сославшись на общее отсутствие интереса со стороны производителей и конкуренцию со стороны других автосалонов. Он переключил свое внимание на шоу, запланированное на ноябрь 2025 года в Катаре. [3]

В июле 2023 года были объявлены планы проведения Женевского автосалона 2024 года с 26 февраля по 3 марта с пересмотренным форматом для сокращения расходов экспонентов. Продолжающаяся пандемия COVID-19 наряду с «неопределенностями в мировой экономике и геополитике» в 2022 году привели к тому, что организаторы отменили швейцарское место проведения в 2023 году (четвертый год подряд) и отложили катарское место проведения до октября 2023 года. Другим фактором, способствовавшим этому, стало снижение обязательств производителей в отношении швейцарского места проведения. 2021 и 2022
В 2021 году организаторы Женевского международного автосалона заключили соглашение с правительством Катара о проведении двухгодичных выставок в Катаре в четвертом квартале, а также ежегодных выставок в Швейцарии в первом квартале. [20]
Выставки 2021 и 2022 годов были отменены из-за продолжающихся мер по борьбе с пандемией COVID-19 . Катарское место проведения должно было состояться в ноябре 2022 года, но по той же причине его перенесли на 2023 год. [21] [22] [23] Глобальный дефицит чипов также был назван фактором отмены швейцарского места проведения в 2022 году. [23]
2020
90-й Женевский автосалон планировался на 5–15 марта 2020 года, но был отменен из-за пандемии COVID-19. Причиной отмены было названо решение Швейцарии ввести ограничение на собрания численностью более 1000 человек. [21] Это было одно из первых крупных автомобильных мероприятий, отмененных из-за COVID-19. [23]
